Freeze Date: 1st December, 2011

The Pashtun Insurgency, primarily centered in the border regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan, involves various armed groups seeking to challenge government authority and influence. This conflict has deep historical, ethnic, and geopolitical roots, with significant implications for regional stability and global security. Understanding the dynamics of proxy warfare within the context of the Pashtun Insurgency is crucial for identifying potential avenues for resolution. You as delegates of HDISEC can step into the heart of the Pashtun Insurgency, uncover the layers of proxy warfare, where external actors shape the course of battle, leaving communities caught in the crossfire and once again strive to bring stability in the region.

This HDISEC isn't just about geopolitics; it's about lives disrupted, futures uncertain, and the urgent need for diplomatic solutions.
