The Tenth Schedule of the Indian Constitution, also known as the Anti-Defection Law, discourages legislators from switching political parties after being elected. This law aims to promote stable governments by preventing elected officials from defecting to another party. Additionally, stringent measures were introduced to streamline electoral laws, ensuring integrity and impartiality in the electoral process. Concurrently, adjustments to the appointment process of the Chief Election Commissioner aimed to foster transparency and meritocracy in selection.

AIPPM endeavours to harmonize the principles of justice and progress, charting a course for a more equitable and resilient future.
